The Supreme Court on Friday ordered withdrawal of the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee and his wife Rujira in connection with the money laundering cases against them linked to an alleged coal smuggling scam in West Bengal.
The bench agreed to hear the plea on Friday and told Singhvi to ask his junior counsel to go to the mentioning officer.

A Kolkata court on Thursday remanded Akash Banerjee, nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and three of his associates to day-long judicial custody for allegedly assaulting a police sergeant. Second Chief Judicial Magistrate of Alipore Court Suparna Roy rejected their bail pleas and remanded Banerjee and his associates Nitish Singh, Mohammad Sarmuddin and Amit Mishra to a day's judicial custody.
Akash Banerjee, nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and three of his associates were on Friday given bail by a court in Kolkata. They had spent a day in judicial custody for assaulting a traffic sergeant. Acting Chief Judicial Magistrate Alipore S Hossain granted the bail prayers of Banerjee and Nitish Singh, Mohammad Sarmuddin and Amit Mishra till August 16 on a bail bond of Rs 1,000 each.
