Registration for vaccination of children in the 15-18 age group against COVID-19 is beginning on Saturday on the COWIN portal, Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.
Modi said he appreciates all doctors, medical staff, and people in administration in the country for this effort.
More than 43.29 lakh (43,29,673) doses were administered on Friday, according to a provisional report complied at 7 pm.
"It is a matter of pride for us that India's vaccination programme has been science-born, science-driven and science-based," Modi said.
