The Lok Sangharsh Morcha has organised a joint rally of Left forces at Ahmedabad on 17th March 2009. According to Morcha leaders --Ambarish Rai and Pratibha Shinde thousands of tribal, peasants, workers, Dalits and minorities are expected to attend the rally.
A delegation of farmers will meet Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Thursday, said the spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union.
Fadnavis assured them of transferring land rights within the next three months.
Union leaders, who came out of the meeting venue shouting slogans, said the talks remained deadlocked and some of them threatened to boycott any further meetings if no solution was found at Thursday's meeting.
