Several areas were cut off on Monday and vehicular traffic came to a halt as frsh snowfall in Shimla, Kinnaur, Chamba and some other areas threw normal life out of gear.
The bus carrying about 40 persons was on its way from Reckong Peo in Kinnaur to Nauni in Solan.
Several parts of Himachal Pradesh, including state capital Shimla, got another bout of snowfall on Monday as about 850 roads across the state remained blocked and disruption of power supply affected normal life.
The state and Indian Air Force choppers on Saturday rescued 100 persons, including 16 foreigners, from Kaza and various parts of rain ravaged tribal district of Kinnaur even as the recovery of 10 bodies took the death toll to 24.
Flash floods and landslips triggered by the monsoon fury left eight more persons dead, taking the number of people killed in calamity-hit Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh to 138 even as 2700 pilgrims and locals were rescued from Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts.
