Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Giriraj Kishore, who was actively associated with the Ram temple agitation, died in New Delhi on Sunday evening following prolonged illness. He was 94.
The outfit's Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh in charge Prabhu Narain Singh was also arrested.
Like Pravin Togadia, Kishore was also not allowed to enter the Patna airport terminal building.
The resolution, moved by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, was passed unanimously as besides the BJP MLAs, members of the Opposition Congress as well as the Aam Aadmi Party extended their support to it.
The top court said the extension of tenure of the special judge will only be for the purpose of concluding the trial and delivering the verdict in the case.
