French President Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly married his girlfriend, former supermodel Carla Bruni, on Saturday at the Elysee Palace in Paris. Francois Lebel, the mayor who performed the ceremony, confirmed the news. The president's office declined to comment on the news. Only close family members and friends of the couple attended the ceremony, said Lebel. According to French law, a couple has to get married before a mayor to make the marriage official.
