Eighteen people were killed and 19 injured when a double-decker sleeper bus headed for Delhi hit a milk tanker on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao on Wednesday, officials said.
"The victim was to appear before a magistrate to register her statement. But she allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday. We have sent the body for post-mortem and further investigation was underway," police said.
