India's Somdev Devvarman won the ATP Challenger in Lexington after crushing third-seeded Robert Kendrick in straight sets in the final on Sunday. Double NCAA champion Somdev cruised to an emphatic 6-3, 6-3 victory over his Californian opponent to extend his unbeaten streak to 15 since stepping on the tour.
Yuki Bhambri beat Croatia's Matija Ecotic in straight sets to advance to the second round in the US $50,000 ATP Lexington Challenger on Wednesday. Returning to complete Tuesday's unfinished rain-hit match, the Indian youngster conceded only two games, after the match resumed at 4-4, to win 7-5, 6-1.
