Two suspected Lashker-e-Tayiba terrorists were killed and two policemen injured in a nearly 20-hour-long gunbattle in a locality in the outskirts of the city here which ended on Monday evening.
A top Lashkar-e-Tayiba militant was killed in a six-hour-long gun-battle with security forces in Sopore town of north Kashmir Baramulla district, the police said.
'The outfit will not attack Indian forces throughout the length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir as a goodwill gesture in view of Eid-ul-Fitr,' LeT spokesman Abu Huzaifa said.\n\n
