Gill gives bizarre reason for increasing doping cases

India's sports minister M.S.Gill gave a bizarre reason to his cabinet colleagues while responding to increasing number of doping cases. Gill said this is due to India's high standard of detection of doping.

On Thursday, when cabinet met to give its nod for caste census one of the ministers expressed worry over so many sportsmen and women getting caught for taking banned drugs and stimulates.

India is facing humiliation due to embarrassingly rampant doping by sports persons. Many body lifters and swimmers have been caught recently by National Anti-Doping Agency. According to reports, this year, more than 100 cases have been found positive.

Gill dismissed the grave national concern for world of sports by saying that it's only due to modern methodology of detection in India. Rather, he boasted that India's standard of detection of doping is so high that even other countries are inquiring about it.

In the cabinet meeitng some ministers also complained to Gill that there is not enough being done by his publicity department to spread positive information about CWG to build up the mood for the game.

His few cabinet colleagues were shocked when Gill regretted that how its not possible to delay Commonwealth games by two-three days.
