India's batting great Sachin Tendulkar celebrated Diwali at his home in Mumbai on Saturday, while Olympic medallists like Saina Nehwal and MC Mary Kom took to social media to wish their fans.
"May you be the source of joy & light in someone's life today. Happy Diwali!" said Tendulkar on his Instagram post.
Badminton star Saina Nehwal and husband Parupalli Kashyap also took to social media to wish their fans.
"Wish u all a very happy Diwali," the couple said.
English Premier League club Manchester featured Indian boxing legend MC Mary Kom as part of their Diwali celebratations on social media.
