Sania MirzaIndian tennis ace Sania Mirza has said she will quit tennis within two years to concentrate on her marriage.

"I want to concentrate on my married life and it is not an easy job to stay away from husband soon after marriage. I will quit in two years," The News quoted Sania, as saying.

"I don't want to disturb my personal life due to tennis", she added.

The 23-year-old was talking to the media in Birmingham after her very first encounter after her wedding with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Sania defeated Taiwan's Yung Jan 6-1, 6-4 in her AEGON Classic first round match.

Earlier, Sania had said that she would continue to play tennis once she recovers fully from the wrist injury that had marred her career in the recent past.

She also hopes to be fully fit to represent India in the Commonwealth and Asian Games that are scheduled for later this year.
