Lok Sabha elections: Ziva Dhoni asks people to vote

Go and vote just like mumma and papa did, says Ziva

On Monday, India voted in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections and a number of stars from the sports world have made it known they performed their civic duty.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni headlined the sports stars who took to the polls on Monday.

 

The former India cricket captain’s daughter Ziva was seen requesting citizens of India to exercise their right to vote in an adorable message posted by Chennai Super Kings.
"Yes, you heard it right from the Super Cub! Your vote is your right. Don't miss out on the opportunity of choosing your leader!" CSK captioned the video on Twitter.

 

In the video, Ziva can be heard saying: "Go and vote just like mumma and papa did."

Olympian-turned-politician Rathore, who is the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting tweeted, “Proud to say ‘I voted’ in the biggest democratic festival of India to form a strong, stable, inclusive and decisive Govt.”
