Kapur ends tied 35th, Chowrasia tied 61st at Irish Open

Shiv Kapur went over-par for the second successive day, carding a 73 for a tied 35th finish while SSP Chowrasia ended tied 61st after a 71 in the final round of the 3 Irish Open golf tournament in Baltray, Ireland.

Kapur managed a couple of birdies against three bogeys to conclude his campaign with a total of two-under 286 at the County Louth Golf Club.

Chowrasia, on the other hand, stroked in three birdies against two bogeys to sign off with a total of two-over 290.

Irish amateur Shane Lowry (71) clinched the title in his first PGA European Tour start after beating England's Robert Rock (71) on the third hole of a playoff.

Both the golfers had finished with totals of 17-under 271 after four rounds.

Johan Edfors (71) of Sweden finished third with a total of 15-under 273.
