Ghosal attains career-best ranking of 29

India's numero uno squash player Saurav Ghosal has moved up three places to the 29th spot to achieve his career-best ranking in the latest PSA Rankings released on Saturday.

Saurav GhosalRiding on his fine performances in the Santiago Open and Kuwait World Open, Ghosal has attained his highest-ever career ranking on the professional circuit, bettering his earlier 32nd position.

The Kolkata-lad has accumulated 1860.00 points from 14 tournaments he had played last year.

Veteran Ritwik Bhattacharya also climbed up 35 places to be placed 113.

However, Siddharth Suchde slumped two places to 101, while Harinder Pal Sandhu moved down a place to be at the 102nd spot.

Among women, world's youngest ever player to win a WISPA title, Anaka Alankamony has moved up 14 places to achieve her career-best ranking at the 87 spot, while Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal showed minimal movements.

While Chinappa dropped a place to be placed 34th, Pallikal managed to hold on to her 46th position.
