Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, PE
Port Elizabeth is the third coastal venue and gateway to hundreds of kilometres of unspoiled beaches along the Sunshine and Wild Coasts of Eastern Cape province.
This region is the heartland of the Xhosa ethnic group to which many anti-apartheid heroes belong, including Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko.
The city is the nation's motor industry capital and was once the frontier for British settlers moving eastward from Cape Town in the 19th century.
Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is the city's first international football venue and has been built on the end of a lake with a beautiful white roof resembling flower petals.
The stadium is a bowl, like traditional English football arenas, and is sure to generate plenty of atmosphere and noise.
Capacity 48,000. Will host eight matches including the third-place playoff.
