Rohan Bopanna and his new partner Max Mirnyi accounted for the third seeded Mikhail Youzhny and Mischa Zverev in the opening round of the USD 1,049,000 St Petersburg [Images] Open on Wednesday.
Indian Davis Cupper Bopanna and Belarusian Mirnyi took exactly one hour to script the ouster of Russian-German pair 6-3, 6-4 to move into the quarterfinals of the hard court event.
They will take on Russian pair of Igor Kunitsyn and Marat Safin [Images] for a place in the semifinals.
