Holders China eased into the final of the Uber Cup women's team tournament with a 3-1 semi-final win over South Korea on Thursday.
The Chinese, seeking a sixth Uber Cup crown in succession, will play hosts Indonesia in Saturday's final after the Indonesians beat Germany [Images], also 3-1.
China led their match with South Korea 1-0 after world number one Xie Xingfang beat Hwang Hye-youn 21-9, 21-19 and clinched the tie when experienced doubles pair of Zhang Yawen and Wei Yili overcame Kim Min-jung and Ha Jung-eun 21-19, 21-8.
In the second semi-final, Chinese-born Xu Huaiwen, world-ranked eighth, gave Germany a 1-0 lead with a 22-20, 21-15 success over Maria Kristin but the Indonesians took control after that.
The men's Thomas Cup semi-finals on Friday pitch China against Malaysia and Indonesia against South Korea.
