Sixth seeds Bhupathi and partner Mark Knowles of the Bahamas beat Nikolay Davydenko of Russia [Images] and Nicolas Kiefer of Germany [Images] 6-3, 6-4 in Indian Wells on Monday night.
Paes and his Australian partner Paul Hanley [Images], seeded eighth, will take on Daniel Nestor of Canada [Images] and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia in the quarter-final on Tuesday.
Sania Mirza [Images], seeded 21st, will fight it out with Slovakian fifth seed Daniela Hantuchova [Images] for a place in the women's singles quarter-final at the Pacific Life Open, being held at the same venue.
