F1 teams get cracking

Vitantonio Liuzzi opened Force India's three-day test as the Formula One team, part-owned by Vijay Mallya, pushed on with its programme of getting to grips with the new Electronic Control Unit.

After a wet start to the day, the Italian driver completed 47 laps, the small number a knock-on effect of the numerous red flag periods that punctuated the day.

Fellow-Italian Giancarlo Fisichella will take over on Tuesday, with German youngster Adrian Sutil set to get behind the wheel for the final day of testing on Wednesday.
