World number one Roger Federer [Images] will complete his preparations for next year's Australian Open at the Kooyong Classic, organisers said on Thursday.
Defending Kooyong champion Andy Roddick [Images], Russian Marat Safin [Images] and Chile's Fernando Gonzalez, who lost to Federer in this year's Australian Open final, will also take part in the eight-man round-robin event from Jan. 9-12.
Federer will play at Kooyong for the fifth time before bidding for his fourth Australian Open and 13th Grand Slam title at Melbourne Park.
