AC Milan's Brazil [Images] playmaker Kaka [Images] has won the 2007 Ballon D'Or, the former European Footballer of the Year award now extended to players in other countries around world, Italian media reported on Saturday. Corriere della Sera (www.corriere.it) said the Ballon D'Or jury had told the 25-year-old midfielder to prepare for the awards ceremony on Dec. 2.
Kaka joined Milan from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2003.
He was the driving force behind their victorious Champions League campaign last season, scoring 10 goals on the way to the final against Liverpool in Athens.
In August, he collected two awards as UEFA's Club Footballer of the Year and Best Forward for last season.
