Top seed Karan Rastogi toiled before scoring a 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory over Navdeep Singh even as Prakash Amritraj continued his fine form, beating Chinese Taipei's Hsin-Han Lee in straight sets to enter the semi-finals of the ITF Futures men's tennis tournament in Delhi on Thursday.

Prakash beat Lee 6-4, 6-2 to set up a clash with Sunil Kumar Sipaeya, who thrashed Sanam 6-0, 6-3.

It was another tough match for Karan, who had scraped past Aditya Madkekar in the second round. Things went haywire for him after clinching the opening set. The eighth seeded Navdeep got his act together after the initial setback and staged a brilliant comeback to run away with the second set and make it another three-setter for Karan.

The decider was evenly contested, but Karan again struggled with his serve.

The top seed, however, got away with the errors as Navdeep too had his share of problems with a weak forehand.

Karan finally wrapped the match by breaking in the 10th game. He got three break-points as Navdeep wilted under pressure and committed unforced errors.

Karan will take on Vshnu Vardhan in Friday's semi-finals. Vishnu beat Vinod Sridhar after the latter retired, trailing 6-3, 4-3.
