Experienced striker Gagan Ajit Singh and midfielder Vikram Pillay have failed to find a place in the list of 23 probables declared on Saturday for the men's hockey team at the Doha Asian Games.
Left-half Prabodh Tirkey has been left out of the list of probables because of injury while his brother Ignace Tirkey has been retained, Indian Hockey Federation Secretary K Jothikumaran said.
Meanwhile, full-backs William Xalxo and Harpal Singh and forward Adam Sinclair have boosted their chances of comeback into the Indian team for the Asiad.
