Top seeded Argentine Gaston Gaudio reached the final of the $380,000 Bell South Open on Saturday with a three-set win over Spain's David Ferrer.The French Open winner overcame the fourth seed 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 in two hours and 15 minutes and will meet defending champion Fernando Gonzalez from Chile in Sunday's final.
The second seeded Gonzalez booked a spot in his second final of the year with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 victory over third seed Filippo Volandri of Italy [Images] in one hour and 49 minutes.
Gonzalez beat Brazil's [Images] Gustavo Kuerten in last year's final to secure his second title here in three years and with strong home support, he will be confident of securing a third.
