19-year-old Mario Ancic impressed everyone with his big first serve and solid volleys and managed to make Agassi work for his points.
"He got off to a great start and earned himself a lead," Agassi said. "When I didn't capitalise, he stepped it up even more. Before I knew it, I found myself in a hole."
