No. 2 seed Andre Agassi survived a second round scare from teenager Mario Ancic of Croatia. Agassi managed to win in five sets, 5-7, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2, 7-5.
"That's what Grand Slam tennis is all about. Sometimes you have to find a way, dig deep and come up with the goods," said Agassi, who was 2 sets down and a break in the third.
