Andriy Shevchenko scored the decisive final penalty in the shootout by sending Juventus 'keeper Gianluigi Buffon the wrong way to give Milan a 3-2 victory.
"I just tried to stay as calm as possible," the Ukrainian said later. "For me, this is the biggest trophy I can win. My injury at the start of the season could have been disastrous, but at the end I've managed to make a difference."
