Die-hard Dhanraj

Together with right-winger Mukesh Kumar [right], Dhanraj formed a lethal combination in the Indian forward line in the early nineties. Their styles of play were similar, in the sense that both liked to run at rival defences. But while Dhanraj relied more on bursts of speed, Mukesh was the touch artist, weaving pleasing patterns as he made his way into enemy territory.
