Die-hard Dhanraj

Mohammad Shahid, the brilliant Indian centre-forward of the early eighties, is Dhanraj's role model. Not surprising that in much the same manner as his idol, he cuts through rival defences with unassuming ease.

He is, perhaps, the only Indian hockey player to feature in an advertisement, for Reebok, in 1996.
