Costa fought his way through 23 sets and 227 games in 18 hours 32 minutes to reach the semi-finals. In comparison, his next opponent Juan Carlos Ferrero has spent just 7-odd hours on court so far.
But at the end of the day, Costa did not even look tired.
"Maybe it's the smile," Costa said. "But I am tired, very tired."
