US Open 2001 'Sampras vs Agassi'

Agassi, a powerful groundstroke specialist, who was 12 of 21 as opposed to Sampras, a serve and volleyer, won 95 of 135 net approaches.

Agassi, a two-time champion, needed a tie-breaker to decide each set and neither player broke the other's serve throughout the duel. Sampras is a four-time US Open winner but winless since the Arthur Ashe Stadium opened in 1997.
