George Foreman (1948 -

Nickname: Big George

Foreman emulated Ali and Frazier by winning gold in the 1968 Olympics. He then turned pro and gained a deserved reputation as a fearsome puncher. He claimed his first championship in 1973. This he lost to Ali in the now famous "Rumble in the Jungle".

Launched an unlikely comeback in his forties, which culminated with him winning the his second World championship in 1994.
