Australian Open 2001 - The Women Martina Hingis (Switzerland) Triple winner Martina Hingis is the No.1 seed. In six appearances so far, has been the winner in 1997, 1998 and 1999. She became the first foreign woman to win the Australian Open singles and doubles titles for three consecutive years.
