Rifleman Ajveer Singh Chauhan displayed raw courage, presence of mind and with utter disregard to personal safety neutralised two terrorists and successfully eliminated the infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir.

Like a true soldier and battle-mate, Constable Zaker Hussain fought along with his commander without caring for his life. He displayed exemplary bravery in keeping with the highest tradition of the force.
