Sons and daughters of top leaders made a political debut tasting victory in the Maharashtra assembly polls carrying forward dynastic politics with President Pratibha Patil's son Rajendra Singh Shekawat leading the pack.
Shekhawat won the Amravati constituency for the Congress defeating Congress rebel and independent candidate Sunil Deshmukh by a margin of about 6,000 votes. Though Shekhawat was trailing initially, the figures were reversed after noon.All in the family
