Addressing a press conference, Delhi police chief Y S Dadwal said a report, which was sought by the Union ministry of home affairs after the terrorists' escape, has been sent.
He, however, refused to share its contents, saying, "That is an internal affair."
Dadwal also refused to comment on the claims of the Foreigners' Regional Registration Office that the custody of the three terrorists, who escaped on Friday, were always the responsibility of special branch of the Delhi Police.
"I don't want to say anything. We have sent our report to the government. The government will make matters clear. The magisterial inquiry, set up by the Lt Governor, will also make matters clear," the police commissioner said.
To a question on the status of investigation, Dadwal said that a case was registered against the three absconding Pakistani terrorists.
"Investigation is on and actions are also being taken. An inquiry has already been set up by Delhi Lt Governor. The Centre is looking into it," Dadwal said refusing speak further on the investigations underway.
Asked if any responsibility would be fixed with respect to the escape of the terrorists, Dadwal said, "Yes. We are alive to the matter since the very beginning and we are looking at. We will take action."
"Whatever we will need to share we will share it with you at an appropriate time," he added.
To a question if more security personnel should have been deployed to escort the three accused, Delhi police chief said, "We are also looking into this question."
When asked whether Delhi police will be able to nab the three fleeing militants, Dadwal expressed confidence saying, "Yes, we will catch them. We had caught them earlier also."
