Terrorist from Manipur held in Bengaluru

The Manipur police in coordination with the Bangalore Crime Branch picked up a suspected terrorist in Bangalore on Tuesday evening.

Police identified the suspect as Roshan Ali, a operative of the banned outfit PULF which operates out of Manipur.

Sources told rediff.com that the Manipur Police were looking for him for quite some and on the basis of Intelligence intercepts they tracked him down to Bangalore.

Sources also said Ali was on the most-wanted list of the Manipur police and was wanted in nearly 20 cases involving anti national activities.

Sources said Ali slipped out of Manipur and entered Bangalore a couple of months ago.In Bangalore, he took up a job as a manager of a private security firm in Mahadevapur area.
