Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat met Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray at the latter's residence in suburban Bandra on Thursday.
In a brief meeting with Thackeray, Bhagwat enquired about his health and discussed issues related to the state Assembly polls scheduled on October 13, Sena leaders said.
Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, Sena leader Subhash Desai, Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary Gopinath Munde were present. The RSS chief was in Mumbai to attend a two-day meet of senior RSS and BJP leaders.
