"There is no threat to Sabarimala Ayyappa temple," Kerala Director General of Police Jacob Punnose stressed while speaking to the media on Sunday at the hill shrine to overview the security.

The DGPs' response came after some reports indicated that suspected terror duo David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana had conducted a detailed surveillance of Sabarimala and Guruvayur temple.

The Sabarimala temple's annual season is on and lakhs of devotees are reaching the hill shrine from all parts of the country and abroad.
