The Madhya Pradesh unit of the Congress on Wednesday accused Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha of possessing a cache of unlawful arms and demanded a judicial probe into the death of a Sangh activist after a firearm went off accidentally during 'Sashtra Puja' on Dussehra.

"The RSS has a huge cache of unlicensed arms," MPCC General Secretary Jaipal Singh alleged in a statement which also demanded the judicial inquiry into the death of Naresh Motwani.

"The judicial inquiry will bring to the fore whether the RSS activist died accidentally or he was killed," he said.

Singh claimed that even after two days of Motwani's death, the gun which killed him was yet to be seized. Singh alleged that under the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Madhya Pradesh, the RSS was indulging in 'unlawful activities' in the educational institutions of the state. He said the RSS members had openly displayed arms publicly on Dusshera across the state.
