Four terrorists were trapped in a cordon put in place by security forces in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night, police officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, troops launched a cordon and search operation in Salva forest belt of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district, they said, adding that four terrorists were trapped in the cordon.
There was brief firefight between terrorists and security forces, they said.
