Senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler on Monday said the 1984 anti-Sikh riot case against him has been re-investigated by the CBI, which has filed a closure report before the court.

"Minister (Chidambaram) has not named me," Tytler said.

Tytler said, "Please I have suffered for so many years. I would be happy if this clarification could be sought from the minister or home secretary before you write against me."

Chidambaram has said, "While in four cases, the CBI has sought permission under Section 196 CrPC from the competent authority to prosecute the accused persons, in one case the closure has been filed...".
