A day after the controversial Women's Reservation Bill was passed in Rajya Sabha, protests continued to echo in Lok Sabha on Wednesday. However, no signs of tension reflected on the faces of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
The trio in fact stayed back in Lok Sabha even after the House was adjourned for an hour.Earlier, Lok Janshakti Party chief Sharad Yadav, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav led the agitation inside the House
The three Yadavs protested against Speaker Meira Kumar and even refused to meet her despite Pranab's efforts to convince them to do so.
