Delhi Police confirms assault in IA molestation case

The Delhi Poice has confirmed the molestation of the cabin crew by Air India pilots Commnader Ranvir Arora and his co-pilot Aditya Chopra. This was confirmed by Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations) Satyendra Garg according to Delhi Police PRO, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Rajan Bhagat.

Komal had alleged that the two had molested and assaulted her on a Sharjah-Lucknow-Delhi flight. Another co-pilot Amit Khanna was also allegedly
involved in the incident.

Commander Ranvir and co-pilot have been booked under various sections of the IPC including endangering the lives of passengers.

The incident happened barely days after the pilots called off their strike.

The Air India management has suspended the pilots after the Delhi Police confirmed the physical assault on the airhostess. The pilots have also been charged for sexual harassment.
