The central government on Thursday appealed for peace after the Allahabad High Court pronounces its decision on the Ayodhya dispute on September 24.

Informing that the Cabinet had approved a resolution in this regard, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni told media persons that the high court verdict will be just one step in the legal process and that it did not necessarily end with the judgment unless it is acceptable to all sections.

No attempt should be made by any section to provoke any other section or indulge in any expression of emotion that will hurt other sections, she said.

If anybody does not feel satisfied with the high court judgment, further legal remedies are available if required, she added.
