Hyderabad will be the capital of Telangana: Home Secy

In the aftermath fo the Centre agreeing to the formation of the state of Telangana, Union Home Secretary G K PIllai has said Hyderabad will be the capital of Telangana.

MPs from the non-Telangana areas met Home Minister P Chidambaram, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Law Minister Veerappa Moily to discuss the issue. 

The home secretary's statement come in the after math of Andhra Pradesh CM Ken Rosaiah's saying that he had not recieved any instructions on the Telangana resolution from the Centre. Hyderabad was the capital of the princely state of Hyderabad before Independence.
