Kanshi Ram to undertake nationwide yatra

Bahujan Samaj Party president Kanshi Ram will undertake a nationwide rath yatra, beginning from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on August 15,
to create awareness about the politico-economic situation in the country.

BSP state president Dhevanathan said after launching the yatra, Kanshi Ram would launch more yatras across the country, all of which would converge on September 15 at Delhi, where a massive rally is planned.

Dhevanathan also urged Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to entrust the home portfolio to a dalit legislator to ensure that dalits get equitable treatment at the hands of the police.
