Two aircraft of Indian Air Force's aerobatic team Surya Kiran crashed after grazing each other mid-air in Bengaluru, killing a pilot and injuring two who ejected to safety during a rehearsal for the Aero India show.

A Mirage-2000 trainer aircraft crashed at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Airport in Bengaluru killing both the pilots. Though the pilots made a bid to eject, they were caught in the flames as the plane crashed with a huge explosion.

A Jaguar fighter jet crashed in Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar district, soon after taking off on a routine mission from Gorakhpur. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely.
