Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandez were attacked with knives by a group of youths outside Amboli Bar and Kitchen restaurant in Amboli in Andheri after an argument over the group harrassing some of their female companions. Keenan died on the spot.

The accused are arrested and presented in court. Jitendra Rana, Sunil Bodh, Satish Dulhaj and Dipak Tival, were arrested under IPC sections 302 (murder), 324 (causing hurt by dangerous weapons) and 434 (mischief).

The murder trial is shifted to the Fast Track Court at Sewree. Special Public Prosecuor Ujjwal Nikam, who has handled several high profile cases was assigned to argue the prosecution's case.

The trial in the Reuben and Keenan murder case began on November 6, more than a year after the murder occured.
